December

Our month starts with the Sun as well as a New Moon in Sagittarius. The emphasis is clear: on the 2nd make a promise to work to increase your generosity as well as your wisdom for the next two weeks. Look at your opportunities for giving as well as for forgiving.  Jupiter, the power behind Sagittarius is al about generosity--of spirit as well as of the purse calls upon us to accept the differences of opinion or uncouth behavior in the spirit of the season and forgive others that we too may be forgiven for behaviors we might ourselves practice without realizing it.

On the 4th Mercury moves into Sagittarius, further increasing the emphasis on Jupiter. Generosity becomes easier, as do travel plans and a more philosophical attitude on life. Be mindful on the 6th when deception could interfere with decisions. Be sure thinking is clear before proceeding and look carefully at any tales being told to be sure of the truth. On the 7th, Mars moves into Libra, sign of partners and others as well as legal matters. The quest for equality may be in the news as well as immigration issues. Contentious behavior could be on the rise. Be cool and think twice before acting in any irritating situation.

On the 10th bright ideas or solutions may abound through unusual ways of thinking. On the 12th long term blessings may occur as a result of actions in the past or on behalf of others. The full moon in Gemini on the 17th is heightened by a stationary Uranus and there could be heavy weather, emotional or literal. Take the next two weeks to straighten out both correspondence and thinking. Eliminate what no longer serves as helpful or useful. On the 21st the Solstice begins the return of light and Venus turns retrograde. Delayed gifts or decisions may be featured over the next weeks.

Mercury moves swiftly now, entering Capricorn on the 24th and business thinking prevails. Both that day and the 25th expect the unexpected, be very mindful in speedy situations, and be mindful around machinery or vigorous activity. On the 29th and 30th Be careful traveling; decisions could be tricky--consider well. New ideas or ways of doing could disrupt or dismay. On the 30th and 31st once again be mindful traveling, think twice before acting to make any changes, and proceed with caution.

This month has a plethora of Uranian aspects leading me to think that we can expect the unusual and the unique during these next four weeks. Uranus is the planet reflecting the unexpected and the unique. Keeping the eyes open and the heart soft will take us wherever we need to go in safety and with joy. While this is always good advice it may be particularly relevant during the weeks ahead.
