This is a rather quiet month astrologically. With the exception of Mercury turning retrograde, on a daily or mundane basis it may be one to consolidate changes made during December and take care of old business as well as new as it occurs. Mercury moves into quirky Aquarius on the 1st only to retreat back in Capricorn on the 21st, so humanitarian projects may begin then have to go on hold. Venus moves into kindly Pisces on the 3rd inspiring generosity to those afflicted or limited helping with opportunities to facilitate projects to help that population. Jupiter moves into Aquarius for the next 12 plus months expanding possibilities, inventiveness, and humanitarian efforts. Saturn is retrograde until mid May bringing opportunities to take responsibility for whatever projects or efforts were begun earlier and then set aside. Finish up whatever you can during this time. Mars in Capricorn aids in persistence. The keyword is keep on keeping on and follow through on any promises or obligations made or assumed recently. The Full Moon in Cancer on the 10th may make you want to fill your larder and stash away more or else invite friends and family over to feed them. The New Moon on the 26th in Aquarius brings a solar eclipse as well as the Chinese New Year of the Ox. It comes close on the heels of a Mercury/Mars conjunction signaling an explosion of thought or communication. Perhaps some wonderful new ideas will be born that will be of significant help to us all. |
