This is one of the quietest months in a long time, with only one day, the 7th when there is much impact and even that could be nebulous as it involves Neptune and to some extent, Venus. Only two planets and the sun change signs and Pluto is quiet for a change. With the advent of Mercury Retrograde at the end of the month we are wise to get any important new beginnings or enterprises all underway ahead of time.
The month begins on a pleasantly inventive note. On the 2nd Venus quickly moves into Cancer and we are all more aware of our responsibilities to parents and home. Mercury is featured on the 3rd with opportunities for spiritual communication as well as a focus on responsibility. On the 7th just before the New Moon the next day there is a fascinating assortment of aspects that could generate revelations or confusion as Neptune turns retrograde and there could be storms at sea or some oceanic news. The New Moon on the 8th in Gemini invites us all to freshen up the lines of communication and renew our commitment to speak the truth. New ideas abound. The 11th and 12th may bring difficult choices and a need to be accurate in choosing what is really our desire rather than what we feel we ought to choose. The 16th and 17th are good days for innovative thinking and activities. The 19th is a good luck day. The 20th could be a very special day for creativity. The Summer solstice begins on the 21st with the Sun's entry into Cancer. You may have noticed Mercury's slowdown as it gets ready for it's second period of retrogradation for the year. Meanwhile the Full Moon on the 23rd shines on business and politics as we get ready to finish projects and complete promised work. Jupiter moves into Cancer on the 25th for a 12 month stay, press your luck, Moon children. Mercury turns retrograde on the 26th, best to have any important purchases made before this--the earlier in the month the better. Be mindful now of choosing tasks that involve "re" such as repair, restore, review, respond, and so on. As you are able to review what is needed you can prepare for the 20th of July when Mercury goes direct. Use the time well to get old business out of the way, and you will be making good use of the energy available for the next 3 weeks. Venus moves into Leo on the 27th and opulence in choice is the tendency we have for this time. |
